Global Water Day!

Did you know that the U.N. declared today 'Global Water Day'? This post will be brief, as it is late, and I now have to contemplate the fact that for the 71st day (out of 80), there will be snow this weekend.

We need water, but I wish it would stop snowing. Water is vital and I guess that snow is as well. Maybe it will be the last time this year that the dogs can go out and make snow angels while being the regular angels they are.

Ok, go ahead and make a snowball, or an angel. The winter equivalent of making lemonade out of lemons would be making snow angels out of snow. At least in my mind it is, as I am not too fond of snow. At least not this year.

If you find yourself missing snow, or wanting some extra, we will gladly try to  send you some! For me, the worst part always seems to be how long it takes us to find all of our mittens, hats, scarves and once we've found them, we are so bundled up  you can barely walk.

But you can smile. So I'll smile and remember that snow is just nature's way of saying be like a child and remember the fun  you used to have playing in the snow. And for that, nature gave us our wonderful companions, the dogs, for whom snow is always (it seems) a blessing and a joyous occasion.

And don't forget (I'm reminding myself here!) it takes more muscles to frown than smile. So I will put a smile on my face and I'll join all my canine companions in making snow angels and snowmen and snowwomen. Then we'll all run inside for vegan hot chocolate and vegan marshmallows. Yum, that almost seems like reason enough to like snow!
